I am the team Captain for the South Wales region. You can read Adam's story below.
After falling ill with renal failure in 2013, I had a kidney transplant in 2014. In the last couple of years I have enjoyed running as a way to look after my physical and mental health. I have entered 10k runs, half marathons and more recently a full marathon race. I and the South Wales team are looking forward to taking on the gift of life challenge 2023 to raise awareness for organ donation. A number of the Welsh transplant football team are joining me in memory and honour of our incredible donors. Come on South Wales!!
