At Caterlink, our Training Administrator, Katy, has a very personal reason for highlighting the importance of organ donation and ensuring your loved ones know your wishes.

Earlier this year Katy and her husband were told that he needed a double lung transplant and it was 50/50 whether he would be here in two years time without one.

They have been on a journey they could never have dreamt of but thanks to an incredible person and their family, Katy’s husband has received the most precious gift, new lungs.

His donor and their family will forever hold special places in their lives and will never be forgotten.
